Real situations where Good Contact makes a difference.
Set reminders so you never let a relationship go cold. Good Contact tells you when it's been too long since you last reached out.
Smart Reminders
Log notes after every conversation — a partner's name, a shared interest, a promise made. Next time you meet, you'll remember.
Contact Notes
Network and contact health scores highlight which relationships are going cold so you can do something about it before it's too late.
Relationship Insights
Good Contact works natively on both iPhone and Mac. Your contacts, reminders, and activity history sync seamlessly across devices via iCloud.
iCloud Sync
Enrichment prompts nudge you to add missing details — company, role, LinkedIn — turning a name into a meaningful contact record.
Enrichment Prompts
Phone numbers, emails, and notes are encrypted on your device before they go anywhere. Not even we can read them.
End-to-End Encryption
No upfront marathon of editing. Get a working system fast and refine as you go.
Pull in your Apple Contacts or import a vCard/CSV file. All contacts arrive as Inactive, ready to be triaged.
Select the people you want to manage, batch-activate them, and create staggered reminders — all in one go.
When a reminder pops up, enrich that contact's details. Your system gets smarter over time without any upfront effort.
Good Contact is built from the ground up to keep your most sensitive information private.
Phone numbers, emails, notes, and personal details are encrypted on your device using AES-256 before they go anywhere. Not even we can read them.
Your contact data lives on your device and, if you choose to sync, in your own private iCloud database. We never store your contacts on our servers.
Your passphrase never leaves your device. We have no way to access your encrypted data, and neither does anyone else. By design.
As a journalist, founder, husband and dad, my relationships are everything: sources, colleagues, editors, business contacts, friends and family. Over the years my contacts grew into the thousands, and the network I genuinely wanted to nurture stretched well into the hundreds.
But I kept running into the same problem. I'd lose touch with someone and the relationship would quietly go cold. I'd tell my wife we should catch up with a friend, then forget to make the call. I'd blank on details people had shared about themselves or their families, the things that actually matter. The whole thing felt overwhelming, like I was constantly dropping the ball.
When I went looking for tools, I found two types: apps that treated your contacts as a revenue stream, and glorified address books. Almost nothing was built for people who care about relationships for their own sake, not to close a deal, but just to stay genuinely connected.
So I built Good Contact. Smart enough to tell me when a relationship needs attention. Simple enough to use every day. Built from the ground up with privacy at its core.
I hope it helps you stay close to the people who matter most.
